When should I book my session?

Due to our increasing demand in the Sacramento and Bay area, sessions do book about 4-6 weeks in advance. However, we do hold times for our newborns every week and occasionally they come early and late so please feel free to email us or call today to check availability for session dates and times. For clients that are out of the Sacramento area, a phone consult will be scheduled for you and Karen to discuss all the details and have any of your questions answered.

When should I book my maternity session?

Maternity sessions are ideally held between 27 and 35 weeks of pregnancy. I?ve found that anything before 27 weeks does not quite capture the beauty of your belly as in the later weeks, and women over 36 weeks tend to feel really uncomfortable. We do not rush our sessions and try to create a comfortable atmosphere and bonding experience that we can capture within the art.

When should I book my newborn session?

For a newborn session, I recommend you call to schedule a consultation in the last couple months of pregnancy. Obviously we cannot book a session, however, we will hold appointment times open around your due date to ensure priority session time once your new little one arrives. To capture the newness of your baby, sessions are held within the first 2 weeks and preferably within the first week. It is extremely important for you to give us a call or email as soon as your baby has arrived to book your newborn session. This ensures your session to be within the recommended time frame.

How do I book a session?

If you are interested in booking a session please call or email us to book your consultation appointment. At the consultation you will meet with Karen, receive a pricing and process packet, discuss your image style and book your session. In order to hold your session a $100 non-refundable deposit will be required.

Where will our session take place?

Your custom portrait session will take place in our studio located in Roseville. This is where we have endless opportunities with lighting and being creative with all of our props, textures and fabrics.
